Mary Machado Schammel

Mary Machado Schammel serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of an M & A firm Venture Advisors Business Sales and Acquisitions. Additionally, she serves as a consultant at the research firm, Greenwich Associates. She began her career at First Interstate Bank, Ltd and spent 20 years at London-based Standard Chartered Bank as the Head of West Coast Business. Machado Schammel is exceptionally committed to community involvement, serving as the representative to the U.S. State Department’s International Women of Courage Program, a member of Georgetown University’s Board of Governors, a director of The Ann Peppers Foundation, a former member of the Pasadena Redistricting Task Force and chair of the Pasadena Code Commission. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Economics and International Relations Studies from Georgetown University. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University and ESADE University.
